| Post subject: Establishing New China Business |
Hey,
My boss is having me do some research into what is required for us to set-up a business (WFOE) in China. I have gone to all the big websites and found most of the information. but now he wants a flowchart (step-by-step guide), complete with all the necessary paperwork and people/agencies to contact so that we can begin sending in everything and get going. I'm having a hard time finding the necessary information online (such as the SAIC not having an english website) and I am starting to suspect this isn't a doable project without a lawyer or someone actually in China working with us. He also wants me checking on some of the legal issues of us partnering with another WFOE already established in China, but last time I checked lawyers in China are about like lawyers in the US and don't give advice for free. So, am I missing something here or is setting up a WFOE a little more complicated than surfing the net, downloading forms, filling them out and mailling them in? |
