| Post subject: Hotels with lots of beds/Beijing/Shenzhen/Hong Kong?? |
Do any of you have recommendations for finding good cheap lodging for a family in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Beijing?
What web sites do you recommend? My wife and I have five kids, so we usually take 2 hotel rooms with 2 double beds each. The hotels I have found so far on the internet only seem to show rooms with 2 twin beds, at best.
Cheers,

Alot of hotels will bring up additional fold up beds for a nominal fee if there is room for it .. you might also ask about suites. Its not someting they usually advertise though. Hotels rooms in HK are notoriously small anyway. |

Thanks! Any idea on what the best way is to locate good deals there from here? I would like to get my lodgings taken care of before I leave Shanghai.

If you're going for 3-4 days, I suggest you search Dragon Air or China Eastern web, they have air ticket+hotel packages which cost about the same as just air ticket but they have restrictions.
Local travel agents should have some good deals as well. |

P.S. I was talking about HK only.
For Beijing, I suggest you rent a serviced apartment.
For Shenzhen, no idea where to stay, I'd stay in HK and commute. |
