Post subject: Hotels with lots of beds/Beijing/Shenzhen/Hong Kong??

Do any of you have recommendations for finding good cheap lodging for a family in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Beijing?

What web sites do you recommend? My wife and I have five kids, so we usually take 2 hotel rooms with 2 double beds each. The hotels I have found so far on the internet only seem to show rooms with 2 twin beds, at best.

Cheers,

Jim

Alot of hotels will bring up additional fold up beds for a nominal fee if there is room for it .. you might also ask about suites. Its not someting they usually advertise though. Hotels rooms in HK are notoriously small anyway.

Thanks! Any idea on what the best way is to locate good deals there from here? I would like to get my lodgings taken care of before I leave Shanghai.

Cheers,

jim

If you're going for 3-4 days, I suggest you search Dragon Air or China Eastern web, they have air ticket+hotel packages which cost about the same as just air ticket but they have restrictions.

Local travel agents should have some good deals as well.

P.S. I was talking about HK only.

For Beijing, I suggest you rent a serviced apartment.
For Shenzhen, no idea where to stay, I'd stay in HK and commute.
