Anyone know where I can buy Hookahs here in town? And no, they are not going to be used for 'whacky tobacky', just want to smoke tobacco.. Also, where can you buy Shisha?

The turkish restaurant at the food court in Lujia zui next to the Jin Mao used to sell shishas but I heard that that place is gonna be torn down or already has been torn down. Maybe they moved to another location now. Also don't know how much the shishas were, might be more expensive cause its a restaurant!

Marijuana is a lot better for you than tobacco. People don't croak from it. Of course I guess that's not important.

Karn-Apart from the fact that weed makes ya stupid I'd agree. Shisha is what the tobacco that you put into a hookah is called. It is normally flavoured (apple, vanilla, banana etc...) Try it sometime...it is wicked good and relaxing. 1001 nights is probably the best place...

shisha is sorta like a hookah with only one tube i think.
how would you find pot in shanghai though, if you don't know any locals

I don't think you can even talk about it, but I sure don't consider the potheads who interferred with the Viet Nam War stupid.
In Vancouver there is an office-shop on Hastings, "Marijuana Headquarters of B.C." which is connected to the Marijuana party. They are working to legalize and have successfully decriminalized it in B.C. Now the heat there just gives you a ticket if they want to hassle with the paperwork which they don't. Medical M is of course legal. Canada rules!
