| Post subject: Tourist Visa and a Yearly Roundtrip Ticket |
Hi Guys,
Yes, yes I know. Not *another* visa question. Digging to find an answer, couldn't find one.
Found a job in Shanghai, got told to get a 30day tourist visa (as I don't have time to get a working one), and I've just paid for a yearly roundtrip. I'm confident that my employer is going to change the visa for me (written in contract)... however, I'm going to encounter problems at the airport, aren't I? Should I state to the officials that i'm heading to Shanghai as a tourist, and for any possible "job opportunities"? Or stay quite? |

If you get a tourist visa on HK or in your own country.. the less you say the better. If they ask.. just say you are visiting to see the city. Normally, the clerk does not really care. Just put your passport down in front of them and let them stamp it. |
