Post subject: Qingdao Beer Festival
Beer, sun, sea and sand. I cannot think of anything better. As such, can anyone tell me if they have been to the beer festival, if so, how was it? was it busy etc... Also, hotel recommendations would be good. Basically whether you have been to the festival or not - any top tips on Qingdao will be much appreciated.

Nice beaches, stayed in Shangri-la, best entertainment was the beach and the beach bars.. other than that nightlife sucks. Went to the Lao shan mountain.. nice treks for my fat butt.

Time was not right for the beer festival, though beer on the plastic bag was cool (10 kuai for i dont know how many litres).
