Salam Alecum Lee_High
my two cents...

Dear Nanar747
You are a chef, right? What cuisines do you specialise in? Are you a French chef? Anyway could you email to me at eleanorhosg@yahoo.com cos\' I am hoping to take up some culinary courses in Singapore before embarking on a \'travelling cook\' job like yourself - but don\'t worry, I am new and I won\'t be in anyway a competitor to you. Chef needs many years of experience to build up so as to become truly good in the art and I think you should be one of the lucky ones! - as for myself, I will be lucky to land up as a kitchen help - so, hope you don\'t mind sharing your round-the-world experience with me. Many thanks!

Thomas. I do not mean french muslims r not true french. i just don\'t want islam to be the strongest religion in france. yes, personally i don\'t like islam. i had lots of uyghur and kazak friends from xinjiang who r muslims. i really liked hanging out with them. but they r so rigid of what is right and what is wrong. they r intolerant of other religions. according to qur\'an, if u die for Allah, u go to heaven. with this belief, muslims r potentially dangerous. and what\'s more, muslim frenchpersons tends to treat chinese people not as good as christian, agnostic or aetheist frenchpersons. for these reasons, i don\'t want french to be islamized, even partially. |

Well, personally I don\'t mind France gets islamized even totally, as I said France gives liberty of cult... Maybe the muslims you met practise an extreme Islam ( Extremist christians also exist) but, at least in France, most of muslims practise a moderate Islam. No french muslim ever tried to kill me because I wasn\'t believer... I don\'t believe Islam is a dangerous religion, I prefer believing people posing themselves as Allah representants and misinterpreting the Koran for whatever goal are the real danger. Koran has bloody verses, written in the past by different persons in order to conquer, and then Koran must have contradictory verses, difficult to interpret... For ex this extract from a french Koran:\"Ne faites point de violence aux hommes à cause de leur foi. La voie du salut est assez distincte du chemin de l\'erreur.\" (Le Coran - II, 257)...It looks like very tolerant to me. Christians used the bible to conquer middle-east as well (they tried) and at that time the bible was probably bloody as well .Today in Ireland we still can speak of religion war, despite Catholicism ans protestantism are to be religions of tolerance...

Okay, now that we know there are some French speakers, any of you got time to teach French a two-three days a week as a tutor (or if you are married, perhaps your spouse would like to get out of the house and teach a little French). Let me know. |
