| Post subject: relax trip |
It's so wonderful. Mostly, biz trip to other province out of shanhai by vehicle is tired and boring. However, this trip is very relax coz i rent the limousine from Asialimo in Shanghai. With DVD, stereo, play station2 and various drinks, the trip made me feel very comfortable. Why not have a try, too? www.asialimo.com |

Thanks for the invite. But backpacking has given me more fun adventures than otherwise would have been possible. |

shan_trekker, I definitely agree with you on the backpacking point. Any interesting suggestions for places to visit/hike/hitch-hike in china ? (using anything but that limo ****)
Is there anything like youth hostels around here (not the 700 bed ones is Paris, but the 20 beds in northern scotland, for instance) ? |

Ever been to the Great Wall? Could try the Jinshanling to Simatai walk first.
If you've got a few more days, the Huanghua to Mutianyu trek would be grand.
Hiking up Mount Huangshan could be cathartic. Mount Huashan definitely beckons the intrepid!
Actually there are lots of info on the web about backpacking routes around China.
Guilin and Zhangjiajie could suit you.
Yes, there are some youth hostels around. Or you could try asking for the dorm beds (8 to 10 beds in some places). Not for the choosy though. |
