Hi Michael and all you people out there...
i recently posted something entitled "A Plaines Maines" looking for the contact info on this group so I can determine if the baby clothing sale they used to hold every month is still going to be happening...
I went looking to see if anyone had replied and I could not find the post!?
I spent like 1 hour wondering thru the whole forum and nothing... until suddenly I found it in the "Moving and Relocation" forum... why??? this has absolutely nothing to do with moving or relocating!
Michael... I know it wasnt you cause you are very careful to read stuff and place them in the right category... so one of your other moderators messed up and it needs to be placed in the correct section. I would say "Questions and Answers", or "Looking for.."
This is the 3rd time this happens please be more careful since the postings are important to all of us and the replies as well.

Hey consultingco,

I'm not being at all facetious, but do try the search function at the top right of the screen - in the banner section. You'll see 'Google' and make sure the radio button is selected for "shanghaiexpat.com". It works well usually, and saves a lot of time!

BTW: I'm also interested in finding out the new address for A Plaines Maines when you find out.

thanks i had no clue about that but still, one of the moderators placed this in the wrong forum..

Hi consultingco,

another useful tool is the "forum" page, on the top right. It's something like "see your posts" or something to that effect. Click on it and it will list all the topics you have posted in. also a quick and easy way to see if anyone has answered your posts.

Doesn't solve the problem of one's posts being moved, but might make it easier for you to find.
