Post subject: bakery pudong

Hi there

anyone knows a good place for buying bread in Pudong ? Close to the Yan Lord Garden or Pearl TV Tower ? I tried in the Lotus shopping mall but that wasn t a great bread experience ...

Lujiazui aint exactly the bread capital of the world but if you want to stick within that vicinity then what kind of bread is it you are after. There really is only the Lotus in the basement of Super Brand Mall and also MarcoPolo up on the 4th floor of the same building, at the top of the stairs near McDonalds.

If its a serious bread experience you after after you will need to travel further afield.

I tried the MarcoPolo ... (I usually don't get that close to McDonalds) ... and I had REALLY good bread. Some dark kind much better than in Jallefoul (Carrefour) ... Wink
