Post subject: How much does a local Lawyer charge(Corporate Consultant)

Any one knows or has experience in hiring a corporate consultant, who will initiate, review, negotiate labor contracts, sales contracts, etc, charges? I got a quote from a local Shanghainese who was a judge in local intermediate court for 14 years and started business with a few partners 2 years ago, specialized in real estate litigation, for my company at RMB2500/month. He says that is the lowest he will go.

Anyone has any other ideas or advise?

Gee that judge-lawyer certainly didn't ask for too much! i am a lawyer myself but no competition with him. i charge rmb 1250 by hour or negotiate a retainer on annual basis. and i'm not alone (in fact, i am in beijing)
the rate of fee doesn't say anything (besides the affordability). you've only got to have the right one. Shocked
