I seem to go from one thing to the next! SUDDENLY I have a little teacup icon sitting on my bar, and I have no idea what it is or how it got there! When I move the cursor over it, I get "Java(TM) 2 platform".
Can anyone tell me what this is, and what to do about it? Pullleeez. |

This isn't a problem. it means some webpage you are visiting is using java, so the java engine has to start. And that is indicated by the teacup. you can go into your control panel-> java settings and turn off the teacup icon if you like. but it's not something to worry about. |
