Post subject: Palm Infared Connection with a Nokia 8310

I have a Palm Zire 7.1 pda which I use with a Nokia 8310 for sending and receiving Emails uisng POP3 and SMTP protocols.

I had no problem with this in the UK I used to dial my ISP and send/ receive E-mails.

The trouble is that when I try to setup China Mobile as my ISP using 116300, it makes the call but doesn't allow me to make the connection using my mobile phone as the way in. Is there any way around this or this another ISP I could use?

And what’s the exact problem doesn't it work at all or just mail service doesn't work.
