| Post subject: Web Hosting in China |
I've checked out a few hosts in China, but no one seems to be able to provide essential basics like -- page-view logs, CGI, PHP, MovableType hosting, etc.
Any ideas? Doesn't have to be in Shanghai. |

You can always subscribe to a third-party stats company, eg WebTrends |

yah, but I'm looking for an all-in-the-box hosting solution for clients, that they can maintain themselves, simplicity. This is routine in other countries. |

I still haven't found exactly what I'm looking for in a Chinese web host. It's particularly hard to find a true PHP/mySQL package (with all the addons/extras and configured correctly/securely) since most of the local web developers (at least that I've met) use ASP and <cough> <choke> <die> Access.
I would be ecstatic if I could find a full-fledged reseller package here like I have back in the US with an English language option... oh WHM/cPanel, how I long for thee...
Sorry, fell into geek reverie there for a sec. Anyway, maybe I need to PM Michael too. But I don't think SHExpat is hosted in Mainland China... |

Nope. its hosted in HK.. We have 3 dedicated servers there and we host a about 60 domains total. We do have php and mysql ( with PHPA), stats, and a decent control panel. |
