Post subject: Cheap place to stay in Shanghai? Clean too!

---------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------
Hi!

I need a good cheap and clean place to stay for a least a week while I check out ShangHai.
Tips and opinions welcome:)
I have already been directed to "The Captain" hostel , just wondering if there are any other suggestions.

I am a Canadian ESL teacher, female, 34 -non smoker.

Thanks,

Ant.
ps...if anyone wants to rent out an extra room, I'd be interested. Arrival date :December 1st

MMMMmm yeah. I can recomend you a ghetto motel, it's cheap and you'll have your own room for about 40 yuan a night. But what do you mean by clean?

(personally I like it. but it does have character)
PM me if you want details.

Note: If you are down with dorm beds the captain is comfortable and clean, plus the travellers tend to be really friendly.

I prefer my own room and cheaper rent.

Embarassed
Sorry if that sounded a lil snooty, lol.
I just meant a place that is clean enuff to be a good place to crash for a while...not insinuating ShangHai is dirty or anything Laughing

I am in Harbin China right now, so I know all about dirty, trust me!

Just thought some of you here might know good places. Thanks for the tips.

Cheers,

Ant.
