| Post subject: Excellent Nail Salon |
I have visited a very good nail salon at 288 Jia Shan Road (near Zhao Jia Bang Road). The interior is stylish and comfortable, and they played good music. The technician was good. I really enjoyed their manicure, pedicure and the handmask. They were using product of Jessica, OPI, Orly and even Chanel, it was lovely.
Another plus, the 2 owners are from Hong Kong and Brazil. These 2 ladies are nice and interesting. They provided me a lot information about life in Shanghai.
Now they are offering 20% off for all services. I definately will go again. Here is their number: 64371509. |

I have a friend who one day tried this place called I-Nail. After going there it became her preferred place for doing her nails. |

The name of the salon is "T&E". Its near Wu Tong Garden, beside "yiyi" restaurant.
I paid RMB95 for basic manicure, RMB135 for pedicure. The price was after 20% discount.
I have visited I-Nail also. The price was similar to T&E. I like T&E more as their space is larger, more comfortable. Also I love the music they played. |

You can also try Frangipiani. The place is really relaxing and they sterilize everything!! If you live in Pudong though, it will be a long trip to Frangipiani. Does anyone know of a good Nail Salon in Pudong? |

I have tried Frangipiani. The place is relaxing actually. However, I did not visit again, just dun very like their nail polish. My nail color was kept only 3 days, I thought it was produced in China............ |

i did my nails at the I-Nail store at Jiuguang (jingan temple) last week. If not for the fact that I had to do lots of manual labor this week, my manicure could have lasted for over a week.
It was however a most uninspiring place. It was so boring that I slept throughout the manicure...
which is a good place for a massage at people's square? i want to pamper myself... |

I tried Dragonfly, it's the same price as Frangi and even TandE I think. It was quite nice, relaxing too and lots of good English magazines. They use OPI nail polish, I was satisfied with the service and the outcome.
My friend tried the acrylic and I was surprised that they do the shaping manually. At home, a special mechanical tool that is powered by battery or electricity is used to do this. Her nails fell off after 2.5 weeks. I tried acrylic before and it lasted at least 3 weeks and I had to go back to the salon to have it taken off or refilled. But my friend took it off herself. It wasn't very good. Anyone know of a good place that does decent acrylic?
I'm looking forward to try T&E when I come back from CNY holidays
Thanks! |

Ive also had acrylics done here and was also quite surprised that they shaped them manually. It resulted in lots of acrylic stuck under my nails, which I couldnt get off, and I peeled them off one after one within a week. I have not seen a place where they do the acrylic with an electrical file, like a dentist tool... hmmm... |

T&E uses an electrical tool to shape acrylic nail. The technician told me the tool was from Japan. I did not try acrylic nail there, so cannot give comment. May be you can try T&E next time. At least they can understand English.......... |

A couple of months ago someone recommanded manicure for rmb 10 at Xiangyang Market which was good. I hate that place with passion but just in case I'm nearby, I don't mind making my nails pretty for the price of a bowl of noodles...
So could someone recall where exactly it is? |
