I want to set up my Yahoo email account in Outlook. Does anyone know what Yahoo's incoming mail server is ?
Thanks in advance,

Hello,
i've also been trying to add my yahoo account on Outlook but failed.
At that time, i read many post that yahoo on Outlook wasnt a free service. Looks like if you want to get yahoo pop account you have to pay smthg. Not sure.. What i also read was that there is a small software that can emulate a yahoo pop account and route your yahoo account to it so you can add your Yahoo account to Outlook (can't rememeber the name but you may find it easily by a google search). It didnt work for me.
So i gave up ~~
Le me know if you find something.
Cheers |

Hi, I use yahoo with outlook for free. The addresses I use are:
Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Hope this helps |

If it doesn't work, try a program called YahooPops. Google it. I don't know the program's webpage off hand. |

If I remember correctly it's online.sh.com or online.sh.cn
I am using CNC which has a different outgoing mail server. |

I think that you have to have Yahoo Plus at $US19.95 to be able to use the pop server. I have been using it now for quite a few months now with no problems. I also have set up in Outlook my Australian ISP POP addresses and Outlook checks them at the same time. There is a catch, you cannot "reply" to messages from the overseas ISP's.
