Can someone tell me where to find a Bank of China branch near Zhongshan Park? Unfortunately their website is not helpful today. Hopefully opening an account will not be hard. Thanks |

there is a mobile service called 'guanxi' in shanghai. you just typ "bank of china" in your mobile phone and it will reply you with adress, which you can answer with a 'c' so you get the chinese adress you can show your taxi driver.
It is also very usefull in locating clubs, pubs, restaurants, etc and is so cheap I barly notice it on my phonebill.
am in belgium now (last day) and I don't have this number at hand. I think its 1861 or something like that. If I find it, I'll post it here. |

guanxi is 885074
opening a bank account is not difficult but unless you speak chinese i would maybe take someone along with you to translate. also take your passport with valid visa and residence documents(permit). |
