Agreed... am I the only one who feels like he raps in slow-motion? His level reminds me of those British DnB or Breaks MCs who add a little bit of rap as a secondary element.
He did a rap criticizing Miss Jones of Hot97 (radio station in NYC) for the "Tsunami Song"...
Heard of Tai Mai Shu? At least he's having some fun with it. I wonder if Chinese people find him offensive?

I was born in Taiwan, but....
Spent more than 2/3 of my life in the US, and....
Hold a US passport, but....
Am now working/living in China...
So am I Chinese, Taiwanese or American?
Maybe I'm just an earthling!.... but aren't we all? |

Jin sucks. Facial features and parents aside, I am more chinese than him--have lived in China longer, speak more chinese and understand his people better.
He is smart tho and can market himself--he has a huge following among those younger, early 20s ABCs that are screaming for an identity in an otherwise racist country that considers them "the model minority"
put him on the streets of Wuhan and see how chinese he is. |
