Post subject: Wholly Foregin Owned Enterprise start up.

I am planning to start a company importing Fast moving Consumer Goods and distributing (thru Third Party Logistic) it here in China, means I will be selling / issuing invoice, accept payment in Rmb.

Does any body know that for there is now a category fall under the WFOE Trading which then required a much lower paid up cap (ca US$ 30.000 )

1. Is my business qualify to be under this category?

2. Any body can share or got experience on the actual application / processing similar to this kind of enterprise? Any tips on that?

3. What is the ballpark figure / typical cost incurring in setting up such enterprise? Adding the incorporation legal cost, admin, fees, startup office cost etc.

4. What is the typical time frame since submitting application toward operatiion in general?

5. Collection of A/R: what is the typical problem in trade payment terms for FMCG? This is a sort of electronic FMCG items.

6, Eventually once business generating volume we intend to manufacture it here as well. Any difficulties in converting the WFOE Trading status to manufacturing one?

Thanks if any body can kindly assist or share their experiences and tips/ pitfalls to avoid.

Cheers, teddy

Thanks, for the input.

Anybody can share / advice on the other questions 3 and 5, much appreciated.

By the way, one more if I may, which market survey data is good reliable?

Surf the net so many offering industrial / market survey data, costly too. But the important thing is I am not sure which one is good quality one or with good reputation, dont mind to pay as long as it is a reliable one.
Have a great weekend,

th Very Happy
