| Post subject: anonymous proxy servers |
Been tinkering with them to speed up my dismal connection speeds and they work. Great speeds. The only problem is I have to find a new one every hour or less....surf the internet for lists of proxy sites by country...try the ones from japan, s.k., macau, hong kong, etc., until i find another working one. Repeat the process when that one dies.
Does anyone know of a better way? |

Same problem here. I guess every day you need a new one. does anyone know if the location of the proxy makes a difference? Like should we only bother trying the proxies here in asia or would a US proxy work just as well?
Anyone else having problems using Skype? Sometimes it works great, but at the peak times for internet usage here in china, I can't ever get a connection regardless if its via proxy or not. |

for access to proxies from china, i would suggest using S.Korea's
they are fast!
try to get a software 'Internet Maniac'. small and powerful. you use the 'Scanner' function to scan IP.IP.IP.IP port range 8080 - 8080 for a specific proxy. if it says 'connected' , then you can try it on your IE
