| Post subject: playgroup for my 15 month old baby |
Hello,
We moved to Shanghai 3 months ago. I would love to find a playgroup for my 15 month old baby daughter. She goes to Gymboree once a week, but I like to take her to more activities.
We live in the HongQiao area near Gubei.
Thanks,
Anne |

Hi Anne,
I am moving to Shanghai in March and would like to take my 17 month old daughter to a playgroup. Have you had any responses to your post? Let me know and maybe we could join you and the group or create one. Thanks, aurora |

Hi Lina,
I have a 6 month old and am in the process of organizing a group for younger babies. PM if you're interested. We will alternate hosting the group with a few other moms in the Puxi area and probably meet weekly. |

Hi,
I also have a 16 mth old girl, will be moving to Shanghai in 2 months time. Currently I have also been looking around for International English speaking playgroup for my girl who will turn 18 mths by then.
I've pop in to the one at Times Square in Pudong. Looks interesting, but not too sure of the standard of the school. Does anyone has any feedback about this school? Or do you have any recommendations ?

Hi All
I have been in Shanghai since October last year and I have a 20 month old boy. We go once a week to a playgroup called Piccinninies at the Chelsea Apartments. I forget the name of the street, but it is off Zhenning Rd. It is run by the AWSG (Australian Womens Shanghai Group), but you don't have to be Australian to join.
If you are interested send me an email, and I will give you futher details.
Regards
Michelle |

Hi,
I've been here for a few months. I bring my kids to I Love Gym. Their facilities are quite impressive and the teaching staff is really nice. My kids really enjoy their classes there and when we get back home, they feel tired which gives me a good rest! I called and they gave me a free trial. If only they would open one in Pudong...

I have been going to the Gymboree at Pudong with my 2.5 year old son. He loves it. We do three classes a week - one music, one art and one gym. The classes are mostly held in English, and the instructors are bilingual. The classes are attended mostly by Chinese children, with approximately 15% expat children. My son loves the interaction with the other children. The centre is exceptionally clean and well managed. When I arrived in Shanghai I just called by and they had a bilingual consultant show me the classes and facilities, then allowed my son to stay and play in the free playroom for about an hour. After this we came back for a free tiral class. |
