Post subject: Cell Phone, Dry Cleaning ?$?

Hey all,

I'm putting together a budget, and I'm wondering what is the cost to buy a cell phone in Shanghai? How much for prepaid minutes?

How much does dry cleaning cost?

Thanks

Cost for mobile varies greatly... can get an international brand starting around RMB1000 on up. Pre-paid phone cards come in RMB100 incriments. Don't know how it breaks down on a per minute basis... think text messages are .06 RMB per message received and message sent. Maybe that is .60RMN .... can never remember. Of course, international calls will cost you more and you pay for incoming and outgoing calls for local. domestic and international calls. Without international calls, my mobile runs about RMB600 per month, no busines calls.

Dry cleaning roughly runs about RMB40-50 for a suit, RMB10 for a tie, RMB20 for a sweater, RMB20 for a shirt (price differences if it is laundered and pressed or dry cleaned).
