Air traffic in Hongqiao

Post subject: Air traffic in Hongqiao
I noticed on the map that Hongqiao, Puxi, Gubei etc. are not that far from the airport. Is there much air traffic noise? How low do the planes fly?

We live near the Hongqiao Marriott and have very little airplane noise. I did notice one day in the last few weeks where I heard several planes - perhaps they had re-routed for some reason? From where we are the airport is still at least a 15 to 20 minute drive.
