my advice is DONT bother to compare your insurance circumstances with another as your policy and insurer are the 2 most important points to consider, then the health care provider and what they will honour as part of your policy. if you want to know what other people have had as part of their provision then really you are simply asking to compare oranges with apples so to speak, as everyone has different policies and needs... so my advice is you should speak with Bupa, review your policy (read the fine print for the inclusions & exclusions) and then speak to the hospital...
also look & compare alternative hospitals... www.seimc.com.cn and shanghai united... are 2 others worth looking at...

yes. chk the fineprint carefully. our insurer said we were covered up 2 $10,000 but then tried to knock back an invoice from worldlink - saying it was too expensive. we eventually got it paid, but stressful when your abt 2 have a baby. make sure they cover the hospital u r happy with - and any extra costs. |

Ema, there are 2 long threads about birth--one in health care issues and and even longer one in family section. These might help you come to a decision. Good luck! |
