You must be well pished off JJ , you spelled with next to no mistake ...

Who are the english anyways...If you would have wanted you would have kicked the shite out of them ages ago , they'd be all gingerhaired now. We had two start two worldwars ( they couldn't get it done right the first time ) to help them get accepted internationally , still did not help so now they have to suck up to the seppos .. Their footie is that shite, they have to get a coach from Swedia to show them how it's done ( with little success ) and everytime we want we still kick the shite out of them...

End of the day you still gotta love them...like that little midget at the circus around the corner running the freakshow

We're not all arrogant, but we are mostly proud. I'm proud to be English (though I don't wanna go live back there, with high taxes, crap weather, n fat, lardy women). I'm proud of the achievements that my country and fellow contrymen (and the odd woman) have attained.

God save The Queen.

i certainly know that all the English are not arrogant,i would like to know in the eyes of an Englishman what their achievements are and have been?Again why would anyone want to be assoacaited with England.I,ll sit on an high fence at this moment on what Scotland has done for England,it should be what has Scotland not done for the world( i shall take that comment in the manner it was spoken, and yes we do bitch on about England ,but most of the time it is needed, and still we are copying the good old English habit of bitching, sometimes for no reason at all, apart for to bitch
so in the words off the great Linton Kwesi Johnson
england is a bitch
there,s no mistaken it
england is a bitch for sure now

but i don,t want to start a tit for tat who is superior,as we all the the real answer, but again ,why anyone would want to be assocaited with the English?

Us Americans likes associating with England. Very Happy We speak the same language (for the most part Wink ), we like the royal family (whom Americans probably know more about than the First Family), us American guys would love to be James Bond, American kids would love to go Hogwarts, they're a great ally (no other nation comes close and us Americans know and appreciate that), and the list goes on and on. If a disaster (i.e., major earthquake) were ever to happen to England, donations would flood that country from America.

Of course for some, being liked by America is on par with being liked by Satan. Evil or Very Mad *laugh*

Jamiejah, i'm not sure when you arrived on planet earth, but had it been anytime in the last 1000 years, then you may have heard of the likes of; Sir Issac Newton, Winston Chirchill, Michael Faraday, William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Sir Frank Whittle, Charles Babbage, Robert Stephenson, Christopher Cockerell, Isambard Kingdom Brunel .............. "what have Englishmen achieved ?" - sorry, but what a bloody stupid question !!!

Just out of interest, where are you from?

I hate being Scottish. We're the lowest of the **** low, the scum of the earth, the most wretched, servile, miserable, pathetic trash that was ever shat into civilization. Some people hate the English, but I don't. They're just wankers. We, on the other hand, are colonized by wankers. We can't even pick a decent culture to be colonized by. We are ruled by effete arseholes. It's a shite state of affairs and all the fresh air in the world will not make any **** difference.

james bond homed his skills as james bond in the back streets of auld reekie, better known as edinbra,to the locals
edinburger to the german and scandanavian folks
ejinbuuurah to the japanese
edinburgh to the english students who dominate the skyline
who gives a **** to the glaswegians
yes at 3 o clock on a dark winter morning ,he had to be quick ,astute and cute to dodge the passing bullets that came raining down on him in the back closes,a family argument ,he got his thirst for fast cars from harry the horse who pulled his cart an astonishing 12 mph,and for fast women ,well every one knows he was in the vicinity of morningside, all fur coates and nae knickers

The English killed baby Matthew Eappen. Even though Woodward escaped sitting in the chair, the murder electrified my final year at university and standing, now as she does, I mourn not the cocoon, because the butterfly has flown.
