How far is the Expat show venue from there? Walkable (with a 3 year old)?

Klick - it's like a bar in a seedy part of town : do not tell anyone your real name or give anyone your phone number or you will regret it. And you won't even get the fun part Sad

Really ?

Less worry, there is no hard selling in this coffee gatheing.
This is the rules here.

Everyone should leave their business card behind, come here, buy you own coffee, grab a chair, just chat in English..

cheers Smile

Yeah.. it looks that way sometimes but looks can be deceiving. Of all the asian faces you might have seen there.. probably half at least, were expats. A couple from Singapore. A couple from the US were among those I talked to, so sometimes its tough to tell. And that does not even the caucasians.

We did have a young expats meeting ( 20 somethings ) running for awhile but the people who organized gave up on it for whatever reason. Maybe you should start it again.. I am sure there would be interest.

I was at the Brunch, but the word “Expat” doesn’t mean Caucasian, overpaid and ignorant, though many people would put me in this category!

Anyway bladder stone removal can be done drinking A LOT of beer!!

I am very upset, twice I have been to this coffee meeting and NOT ONCE did anyone talk to me about removing my bladder stones. This would actually be very useful information!

If beers indeed can be as bladder stone removal...haha
Then Malones would be a nice place to clean your bladder.

It does at time like a English corner though.
Caucasians, Asians, etc.....all meet here for chat over coffee, no serious agenda.

cheers Smile

Yes, I enjoyed myself last Sunday. I will definitely be back.

BTW. Don’t you think the reason why the “20-something” group stopped, was that they turned 30?

also looking for a young Shanghai(ees/ites?) group. 22, just arrived, head is spinning. Want to play sport, cool bars, explore etc (not that I don't like coffee - i may also pop along and say hello if this thing is regular and I can find it) but can anyone refer me to a relevant forum/website/people?
