| Post subject: Satellite TV |
So, I just moved to Shanghai 3 days ago and rented an apartment.
Now my question is who should I call for Satellite tv? I want to be able to watch at least CNN, ESPN and Star Sport. Currently I'm only able to watch CCTV only. Also what is the card that everyone talked about?

We got 2 de-coders install by this company which provide after sale service. But before you can install this, check with real estate agent what you be the right procedure. Mine we got the owner to pay for it as part of the rent renewal.
As for the card, every de-coder need a smart card to access the channel but most china statellite tv are not licence, therefore this cards are of poor quality. It is often that they loss the access and you need to change new card. Some intaller will charge you everytime you get them change but mine do it for free as a after sale service.
