Saturday night meet-up?

Post subject: Saturday night meet-up?

I'm wondering if there's a group of people who get together on Saturday night that would welcome a new expat... I've been here for a little while and would really like to branch out and have some good conversations over a tastey beverage or meal!

I've looked on the site for any meet-up groups already "scheduled" on Saturday nights but haven't had any luck! Any ideas as to where I could just show up and meet some english speaking folks - besides what looks to be a western bar?

Sorry its another western bar but the Big Bamboo has its first year birthday on saturday and there is free drinks from 7-10. Its on the street behind the Portman/Shanghai Centre and runs parallel to Nanjing XiLu.

And the foods good!
