Post subject: Mobile phones for rent while in China?

Can someone recommend a place that will rent a mobile phone for 2 weeks in China (Beijing, Shanghai, HK)? Does anyone have experience good/bad with pandaphone http://www.pandaphone.com/index.jsp.

renting is probably gona be more expensive and hassle.

I bought a cheap 600 yuan New Nokie simple phone and then sim card fopr 100 yuan, and then airtime. and then you are able t use your phone straight away.

Just check if the sim card you buiy is gonna work in all parts of China, some are only for some provinces.

A normal Nokia phone will also work in China, just buy the sim card.

check if your phone is compatible when you arrive.
