| Post subject: Gym in Pudong |
Hello,
I am looking for a nicer gym in the Pudong area preferrably near the Bank of China tower.
If anyone knows of anything it would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks

Not sure which BoC tower you are referring to, but the best gym in Pudong (and probably in all of Shanghai) is Megafit in Jinqiao, by Carrefour. |

Yeah, an obscene amount...
I'm not exactly sure but recently I believe a yearly membership is around 9,000RMB.
I signed up shortly after they opened and have continued to renew for nearly half that rate.
Not sure why they continue with the ridiculous pricing. The gym is pretty empty (not that I mind). A lot of the customers are there on memberships paid for by their employers. I had heard a rumor that they would be lowering their prices but I'm not sure if this is correct or just a rumor. |

Wow, expensive.
I go to Fitness First which is just under 1/2 that amount (no pool or racquet courts though). |

Yup. Only worth it for me b/c I joined early and it's by far the most convenient to where I live... |
