True.. the city is wonderful (especially when you're just here for a visit)
about the plastic model kits... i'm ignorant about these things. Plastic model kits of what? i'm pretty sure if it's made of plastic, china will have it.

hi pepe-

i have seen several stores scattered throughout the city that might have what you want. i'm assuming plastic models (gundam, tamiya models, etc.) there is one store east of the intersection of yanan rd and jiangsu road, on the north side. there is also one at cheng hua miao (close to yu yuan garden) on the first floor. cheng hua miao marketplace is rather large, so you might have to look for it. also, i've seen some stalls in the malls along huai hai zhong lu, such as times square in the basement. there's actually a lot of stores around; i'm not into models, but i've noticed enough stores that i know they are there. good luck.

I saw a couple on Chang Le Rd near XiangYang Rd.
They were more military type kits like tanks, aircraft and ships.
They had a few gundam/robotech/anime type models but not
a big selection (and a few Transformers too!)

There is also a Railway hobby shop on XiangYang Rd near XinLe Rd.

Saludos Pepe,

. . pero despues de una prueba, quizas volverias?
