Post subject: Translation problem..

Hey everybody.

I want to put some new money on my Public Transportation Card (or Traffic Card). Does anybody know what this means in chinese? Here at my station they're not talking english and a friend helped me the first time. But right now I don't really know what to say. I know the begin and the end of my sentence, but what mens "upload" or "put money on..."?

Thanks

I always just hand them the card with a few hundred RMB. They know what to do when they see that. They will then put the card on a little machine and ask you (point) to look at the amount that is credited. If all is okay then they return the card to you.

No need to really say anything.

...where the keywords are either 钱 (jia qian, "add money") or  (chong zhi, literally "infuse value").

But when in doubt, go with Magnolia's suggestion. Card. Money. Context is the key.

or: chong + 100 kuai

a piece of cake.
