Post subject: Horseback riding?
The last time I was in Shanghai, someone told me that there were horses for rent at Zhongshan Park. Does anyone know if that is fact, and what is the condition of the animals and the prices? Are there any other places in Shanghai to let your inner cowboy get out for a gallop on the open range?

yes. The only one that I have been to is meadowbrook, which offers fairly good horseriding activities.
