BIO DJ Boro

Boris Barislowitsch aka DJ Boro was raised in Vienna, Austria.

Boro started to produce music at the modest age of 15 when the Vienna Sound movement kicked off.

Coming from the same era as Kruder & Dorfmeister, DJ Boro began to remix under different monikers while producing other styles of electronic music.

Being inspired by various artists like Jesper Kyd, Boro also was seeking inspiration from the international underground dance music scene shifting his focus to producing energetic breakbeat driven music.

Being one of the youngest yet one of the most successful artists on mp3.com, which at the time featured reputable independent artists, he had monthly top ten chart entries.

Boro had his first small vinyl release on a Dutch label “Sick Tone, at the age of 18. Deciding to go into a different direction he soon got restless and decided to take on spinning and producing Tribal House.

Seeking inspiration from his home Boro made a leap to Japan, where he began to deejay House music for the Tokyo club scene as a supporting DJ.

During that time he had the pleasure to meet some of the best DJs from around the world, one of the most influential ones being Steve Lawler. In early 2003 he was approached by Black Panther, the President, Chairman, and CEO of Legion Inc., Foundation for
International Concepts and Ideas.

A conglomerate of many aspects including recruitment talent in the entertainment business, Boro was soon signed on as a performer.

Already proving his worth as a producer and proving his worth as a DJ, he became the manager of Legion Productions.

After a hiatus, Boro is back in the studio working on his debut album and returns
with an evolved style of Housematic DJism:
PhunkedUpTwistedPhutureTribalProgressiveTrashHouse.

Too bad, the sound system was poor, more than 2 times echo disturbance.
The live percussion was good.
