Post subject: tall girl pants

Can they be found anywhere!? I'm 5'11" and I'm finding pants IMPOSSIBLE to find. Any suggestions?

You'll have to fly to Hong Kong .. there's a Marks & Spencer's there and they sell pants in short, medium, long lengths. Or - get them made at the fabric market.

I'm guessing you've tried xiangyang, I think there are a few export overflow shops around as well - I don't know where though. Or you could try mail order, I'm sure a few companies would deliver here. Or get some sent from home, or as Carrol says get them made at the Fabric Market - although if you're a girl be careful that they make the trousers to a girls pattern - I've had a few pairs that have had too much material at the front!!

try clothing market in baoshan lu and haining lu. look around there are also tall chinese women here, so they gotta be shopping locally too Razz

I've tried on a few pairs of pants at the "TJMaxx" across the street from the fabric market - some items even have TJ Maxx price tags on them. They had a bunch of Banana Republic pants there last summer. To try on just go into one of the storage rooms at the back of the store.
