Hello,
My brother asked me to get some DVDs such as a Chinese ghost story, Shalin Soccer and all Bruce Lee.
1/ Where ? Kadeclub?
2/ Are there at least English subtitles?
I will also google the Bruce Lee's movies as I don't know the titles in English.

There is a DVD shop on Chang De rd/Nan Jing Xi rd. It seems ok.
If you can find Jade Garden, the shop is just next to that restaurant. |

usually in bigger book stores e.g. book city there always a floor / section for CDs or DVDs where you can find a lot. Presumably they are with more proper copyright issues otherwise they are just everywhere.... |

My local store is Ya Di on Hong Mei Lu, very close to Starbucks. They have a very good collection of old and new hong kong movies (Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Samo Hung, Chow Sing Chi, Chow Yun Fat) I have seen all the ones you mention on sale there, and I think that most have English subs.
Bruce Lee's movies are as follows
The Big Boss (aka Fist of Fury)
Fist of Fury (aka The CHinese COnnection)
Way of the Dragon
ENter The Dragon
Game of Death (completed after his death)
If you are a die hard collector you would include Marlowe (starring James Garner) and episodes of Longstreet and, of course, The Green Hornet.
You can find box sets of Bruce's films here, all over the place.

this shop is selling DVD at RMB8 versus the market rate of RMB5.
there are lots of vendors along Wu Jiang Road, at Xi Men Yi Lu subway, who unfortunately dun speak English and selection is limited. but interesting street to visit during the day for shopping and at night for local snacks. |
