I'm curious too.
Back where i came from (KL), we have like indoor playgrounds or gyms where kids can climb, tumble and wat nots in the huge obstacle course/slides/rides for unlimited time for like RMB 20. Haven't seen any here like that.
I think such business will make a killing considering the population no. here.
I guess the only amusement park i've seen is at Super Brands.... average RMB2 per ride.

I saw something like a Gym for kids in Shanghai Stadium, staff speaks english, but not sure about prices there. The place is just in beside the Shanghai Centre Dutyfree store. |

Hope it's not like the one at Decathlon Pudong (near to Carrefour)... which requires membership of RMB x,xxx per month instead of walk-in entry price ... wonder how they survive.... quiet everyday. |

Hua Shan Rd? Looking at the map, it does look out of the way (from Huaihai Rd or from any train station). |

Have so far been to Pudong Science Center and Zhongshan Park. The former is a waste of time and boring.... could have done better with the overall layout and contents.... so dull and empty feel.
As for the latter, spent 3 hours.... great outdoor fun.... greenery park cum amusement park. Fun Dazzle at that park was just too haphazard and packed during the New year holiday.... as compared to the outdoor fun. Great..... will try other parks for comparison in coming weeks. |
