| Post subject: Hangzhou airport to Shanghai downtown (and vice versa) |
How do you get from Hangzhou airport directly to Shanghai downtown?
I know I can take the airport shuttle from Hangzhou airport to the CAAC office in Hangzhou downtown, and then change to a train back to Shanghai, but is there any other better method?
I've tried looking around online for transport options for Hangzhou airport but no luck, maybe I'm looking in the wrong places?  I plan to fly back to Hangzhou from Guangzhou instead of going directly to Shanghai, as the flights to Hangzhou are cheaper by about 300 RMB; and I can't get train tickets to come back! Thanks in advance. |

Hangzhou airport is located at Xiaoshan which is in suburbs of Hangzhou. From the airport you can check if there is a airport shuttle to Hangzhou East Bus Station. From Hangzhou East Bus Station there is a Bus every 30 mins to Xujiahui Bus stand. Tickets are normally available even 10 mins before the departure of Bus. The last bus however is at 19:30 from Hangzhou for Xujiahui. |

No such a transport service between Hangzhou airport between Shanghai downtown. but you can take the shuttle from Hangzhou airport to the railway station and directly go to buy a train ticket. |
