HI oddpig,

It would help us a lot if you could write the words in pinyin, with tones. Many of us here don't read Chinese.
Great idea though, thanks a lot Smile

Thanks. I'm assuming 1 indicate lowest tone? A bit unsure about "light tone"... means "whisper"?

I meant china mobile charging card.

You do know how to call "anti perspirant" ... does that mean you've seen them or use them? Please share.

"Phlegm tan(3) gosh" ..... is "gosh" included or are you just shocked?

Yeah... i always do that. With sweetest smile. Very Happy

And i really want to know this word:
opthalmologist
astigmatism
artificial tear
diarrhea

Thanks

The tones:

1st tone is high and constant
2nd is tone rising
3rd is tone falling/rising
4th is tone falling/abrupt

Hehehe.... yeh.

It'd be lucky that stranger understands me trying to say "Dui bu chi, zhe ge Zhem me shua" much less catch/hear the stranger's response properly

I am weird!
It is definitely your lucky day if someone smile and speak to you in very polite way, don't you agree with me?

Yesterday a waitress from XinWang smiled and say hi to me when i walked pass by her. At first i can't remember her because she is not in uniform, but i smiled and say hi back.
She made my day...

After that i recognized her, she is the one i spoke to and ask some word in menu. WITH SWEETEST SMILE.

and i have a little problem with mt health

opthalmologist
astigmatism
artificial tear
diarrhea

pinyin pleeeeease.

as Chinese has different tones from English,it is hard for you to pronounce some words in pinyin. so pls write down the Chinese characters on a small piece of paper when you want to buy something.

To Kanasai, what oddpig and cranberring write down are the same in pinyin. but oddpig's has not tones. and oddpig's has Chinese charaters additionally.
you can choose cranberring's pinyin if you can pronouce all the tones.
