Post subject: This one's for bougie.

Which film did this Di Niro Quote come from ?

A guy told me one time, "Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner." Now, if you're on me and you gotta move when I move, how do you expect to keep a... a marriage?

This one ?

Loneliness has followed me my whole life, everywhere. In bars, in cars, sidewalks, stores, everywhere. There's no escape. I'm God's lonely man.

You can get further with a kind word and a gun than you can with just a kind word.

Ok this one is from a Clint Eastwood movie back in the seventies.

I didn't surrender, but they took my horse and made him surrender. They have him pulling a wagon up in Kansas I bet.

Clint didn't say this, his co-star did.

Is this one from Ronin?

I loved this film btw.... Easily De Niro's worst film, but just hilarious as you watch him become a parody of himself.

The Good The Bad and The Ugly.

Shanghai Studios are doing a remake of this starring Skyline as The Good, me as The Bad and CLM as The Ugly. They're thinking of adding The Stupid and Commando's up for that part.

No fukcen way... You mean the line "I'll do anything for anyone, anytime, anywhere?" by Steve Martin was in that? Get teh fukc outer here .. really ? Ah I see, you're talking about the Clint one .

A good scene is a not so great (but not bad) movie was in anger management. Where De Niro is asked: Come on , just hit the pillow, it'll make you feel better. And non challantly pulls out his piece (with silencer I think) and lets about about 4 rounds in the pillow. Yah, I do feel better ...

Another is in Raiders in the Lost Arc one where Harrison Ford is surrounded by the guy with the huge knife doing all kinds of fancy knife moves. Again, non challantly pulls a pistol and bang! your dead. Even before the guy falls to the ground, Harrison is looking away as if to say ok that was easy, where to now?

Classic stuff !

Ok so the first movie you mention was Analyse This or maybe Analyse That.

The second - well, apparently the whole scene was supposed to include Ford doing clever stunts with a whip, but he was supposed to have asked Spielberg if he could just shoot the guy as he wasn't feeling well.

Righteo. Analyse this I think (the 1st one)

But Ford did a bunch of his really cool stunts, unlike some of the other fags in Hollywood. Good on him ...

1 & 2 are from HEAT

3 is from Taxi driver.

4 is from the outlaw Josie wales, when Wales is talking to chief Watie he asks ''did you surrender''

chief replies ''I didn't surrender, but they took my horse and made him surrender. They have him pulling a wagon up in Kansas I bet.''
