Being an extraordinairy popular serie here among the Shanghainese ladies the impact of this series is seen everywhere
- They views of a good man should be just as in the serie: rich, handsome and absolutely perfect
- You can change your boyfriends faster then the newspaper of yesterday
- Sex at first date is law
- Romance and sensitivity isn't an option
- Sex should come first
- Marriage is for hopeless romantics and should be abondanded
- If over 30 the young ladies of 20 something are your archenemies
etc. etc.
Shouldn't we just watch tv shows as reverance and use the over the top and contradicted situations show a mirror and leanr as to be careful, but not turn us into paranoid freaks or its the new millenium and it should be like that?
Or why do we keep looking for something weird and when we find a small thing and lose the one actually cares for us and then still complain about why we can't find a match 
etc.

I agree that TV/movies/media do have an impact on us individually and in society but the content of this show is really nothing new to Shanghai. Crikey go back 200 years in history, a time so pleasure orientated that it led one person to say "If God allows Shanghai, he owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology!"
Check out 'Shanghai-the rise and fall of a decadent city' by Stella Dong. It is quite an eye opener.
But yes, this city is bloody awful for the romantics out there... |

I always think Sex and the city is gonna teach each girls to be the slut. I never watch it myself but heard some parts of the TV show from a friend, oh crap! |

Lemonie, you should watch it... get the full episodes, full seasons en I bet you would never leave your room for as long as your dvd player last. Uhm, do I sound like exaggerating?? Maybe... the first episodes're boring... but later got better en hillarious more en more. I dont see the movie as some sort of mechanism to brainwash or demoralise anyone, rather I think the serials are funny... I call it an effort for womanizer...  |

The characters in "Sex and the City" represent the wishful thinking of young women everywhere. They wish they were so glamorous, so sexy, and so successful. They wish they had so many boyfriends, all so rich, cool, and handsome. They wish they could change partners as often as they change clothes with no emotional repercussions. They wish they could drop $600 on a pair of Manolos without having to worry about paying the rent.
There's a reason it's a successful TV series. It's pure fantasy. |

I thought it was crap. Bunch of women bitching that they didn't have a boyfriend. Then when they got a boyfriend they bitched about the boyfriend. Then then bitched about not getting married. Once two of them got married two bitched about their husbands, while the third bitched that she still wasn't married. |

Is indeed like Goosie, pure fantasy wolrd. Plus it focus espcially on the sizes of the equipment, but its just over the top, that it makes completely fun out of the whole situation.
It just shows how silly some things can be and appriciate the things we actually already have more.  |

well...i wouldnt say playing with the little devils. buy you can all rest assured that i never take my eyes off em either.
i keep trying to tell you guyz ahd galz that they are really really sneaky little farts and on top of that sneaky as hell too.
i fear that they got aquazon and thats why we dont hear from her anymore. but just wait. after a little while we will begin to hear from her because they locked her in a rubber room and analyzed her behavior so that they could have a "look alike" here to keep an eye on us.
this is SOP for them.
