No idea if it's possible... but sometimes there are instances where you can recall who started a specific thread but don't want to be bothered to go through pages and pages of past threads or search various forums to locate the thread. Since all posts by a particular user can be brought up with ease, is it possible to perform a seach based on the thread starter?

It is.. go to the forum profile of the person you want to lookup.. on the forum profile page for that person, there is a link for finding all the posts by this person.
