Post subject: how to get a credit card
Can anyone tell me if its possible to get a VISA or an American Express card in Shanghai. Where do I get an application form?

there's currently a "Pink Panther" card promotion by China Merchant Bank at Super Brand Mall (near Lu Jia Jui station).
obtain the application form at customer service counter on 1st floor and bring along a copy of your passport, name card and proof of residence if available else you will have to mail them to the bank.
not sure whether proof of income is required or not though cos i didn't have to submit mine.
