Post subject: Where to buy a dish washer?

Hi,

I would like to buy a dish-washing machine. I am interested in a "western-style" one. The ones I have seen here, looks more like an oven and I heard it is some kind of anti-bacteria "machine".
Please tell me if I am mistaken or if you know more about where to buy a dish washer and what the prices are!

I have been looking for a dishwasher too and have only come across one model here made by HAIER. Haier can be found in most white goods sections in places like Gome, but the dishwasher I found was in a SUNING store (there is a huge branch just by Zhongshan Park metro station). The price was RMB3880 (RMB3228 discount offered).

You can buy dishwasher tablets and salt (I think) in City Supermarket at the Portman.

many department stores or even entire malls are either all about clothes, or all about things and appliances. Almost Every brand and style of dishwasher you can think of is there, and many from companies you had no ideas made such things, i have never seen such big slections, more than any place in the US. In Pudong, there is an interesection with 3 malls, bai bei ban (Yoahan), Times Square, and a 3rd one. The 3rd one was a huge selection. One of the cross streets is Pudong Nan Lu, and it's one block west of Weifang Lu.
