Singing in the Rain - on now on ICS.

"call me a cab!"
"okay, you're a cab!"

Yep. It's old, but it's still a classic, though I'm also playing a game at the same time.

Blind Mountain

Mainland Directors Yang Li's 2nd offering after watching the excellent Blind Shaft a couple of years back, so had to view this.

Basically shows the horror and the plight of a kidnapped college girl who is forced to be the wife of a villager.

The film is beautifully shot and acted throughout, there really is no plot as such but its a must watch.

4/5

Walk Hard 3/5

Stars Robert C Reilly, as a rock and roll star.
A spoof movie of some sort, showing the rise and fall of an Elvis Wannabee.

Resurrecting the Champ

Heartwarming Drama about a Boxer labeled as The Champ (Played by Samuel L Jackson) who is homeless and living on the streets.

Josh Hartnett plays the flagging sports Journalist looking for that story of the year, to save his career.

Jackson was superb and totally emersed himself into his role, whilst Hartnett gave a very honest and steady performance.

John Rambo

Yes he's a tad old but the action is thick and fast, and what you would come to expect from a Rambo movie.

Gore gore gore!

In Godfather I, is the conversation between Michael and Sollozzo at the restaurant translated at all?

The Green Mile
(must be 3rd time or so).

Wonderful period piece as well as story.
Not your typical Stephen King line.

In Godfather II, is there English translation for the Italian dialogues after the 2 hour and 40 minute mark (where Vito takes revenge against Don Cicci)? If so, where can I download the English subtitles other than on www.subscene.com?

Sin City 4/5

Got an award at Cannes for technical... something or other because of their selective colors. Done well, actually, but could've had a bit more red for some of the blood.

Man from Earth 5/5

Great movie. Sci-fi, but more of a 1 1/2 hour dialogue of a man who claims to be 14,000 years old. Some interesting religious discussion in this dialogue. I won't spoil it. Heady, not for those who are looking for action or TNA.

Juno - 4/5 - Very funny, good for everyone (my grandma even liked it)
Fearless - 3.5/5 Lots of action and helped me with my Mandarin
Forgetting Sarah Marshall - 4/5 - Very, very funny. The only reason it didn't get 5 is because of frontal male nudity
Walk Hard - 2.5/5 - It was okay but wasn't that great
Donnie Brasco - 3/5 - Overhyped

Stealth..

See how technology has advanced. it's about digital warfare. They're trying to control an artificial intelligence program in a fighter jet.

Jamie Foxx, Josh Lucas and Jessica Biel are played the three superb U.S. navy pilots. They are the best in the team and were in-charged to pilot the next generation stealth fighter jets.

You don't speak Italian? He told Michael not to order the veal, stay with the pasta.

Now you know where Michael Jackson got the white socks from.. and it spread all over China. I think Gene Kelly's Grandmother was Chinese, or maybe she had a Chinese Boyfriend
