| Post subject: How to phone from FINLAND to SHANGHAI at low cost ? |
Hello 
I'll move for more than a month to Finland, and I would like to find a cheap solution to phone my girlfriend in Shanghai...
Any advice ? Thanx! |

1) Buy a crappy head seat, for instance in Xujiahui for RMB30 or in Finland for RMB99999999999
2) Download skype (www.skype.com), and buy some credits for your skype account.
3) Find a Shanghainese girlfriend, if you haven't got one already
3) Buy a plane ticket to finland, I recommend SAS or BA, or well - everything but finnair. The MD11 aircraft they operate suck.
5) Pack your bags, kiss your girlfriend goodbye. Don't forget to ask for her phone number
6) Step on the air plane, have a nice rest, enjoy the view
7) After arrival in finland, buy some finlandia vodka, enter a nice sauna, bring your notebook with you
 Call your girlfriend, doesn't matter whether you call her mobile or home phone, to china there is a fixed rate of RMB0,15 per minute - super cheap! You should have at least a 2mbit/s internet connection in finland though. |

Talked Shanghai to US for free when I was there for the premove trip and it was crystal clear. Both sides must have dsl speeds, skype account and that's all. You only need to pay for skype credits IF you're calling from your computer to a regular telephone #. |

talk through msn! there is a tool in msn that support internet talk, but you and the person called must have a computer and can access to the iteret! i try this for many times! just like real phone call! better than telephone is that you can have a audio- video talk through msn! |

1) Skype - PC-PC connections are free. If you both do not have high speed internet connection, you can get a skype-out account and call from your PC using skype to her phone in Finland.
2) MSN and oher similar services also have voice over IP services that you can
