“In April this year, they released their second album and soon sold 150,000 copies. This person is Xie Tian Xiao. There has been a long vacancy before Xie Tian Xiao made his presence in China Rock history. We can say that he is the No.2 person in this Chinese Rock stage. The No.1, of course is Cui Jian. But as a matter of fact, the quality of Xie’s live show is actually much better than Cai jian’s these days. Rock promoter Mr.Jiang said:“Even the office worker, those white collar in the big companies will immediately fall into their music the minute they come to their live gig, even if they never heard of them before.” – from China News Week

Cold blooded animal got their name as a grunge band. Their lyrics are filled with life wisdom and full of inspiration. The unique style and the power of their first album <Cold blooded Animal> set a new standard in Chinese rock history. In the heart of the Chinese rock fans, they are the symbol of independent/power and wisdom.

As a Chinese rock rep, they joined many big scale rock festivals in US and Japan and were crazy welcome by the local fans. “Cold Blooded Animal”was even on the cover of <Rolling Stones>! Bill Bottrell, the music producer for Michael Jackson and Madonna said:” Xie Tian Xiao and his band let me witness the real Chinese rock. They made guitar/bass sound so different, familiar yet never been heard before.”
