Post subject: How to get from Shanghai to t¡bet?

I'd like to visit t¡bet for a week or less. Does anyone know the rates, the best route and nice places to see there??? May be you can advice good company to deal with. Surprised

Fly to Chengdu and then on to Lhasa. You'll need an entry permit that only a travel agent can get you but it's a breeze.
Sim's Guesthouse is a good one, they did a good job for me. Google themfor the website.
A great place to stay at in Lhasa is the Yak hotel, great location, friendly staff and super deal and comfort.
t¡bet, it's a unique experience.
