Hands down the best xiao long bao I've had in Shanghai is at Nanling Restaurant at 168 Yue Yang Lu. Better than that place at the tourist garden temple or whatever it's called, better than Ding Tai Feng, it's awesome! Skin not too thick or rubbery, nice amount of broth with just enough crab to accent and not overpower the flavor, mmmmm.
Probably won't win this category since it's not as well known but definitely worth trying! 6433 0897. |

^^ for sure, it is good, but only really their bread. The Poppy seed high loaf is great.
I think for overall pastries Baastian wins, but Yamazaki for Bread is probably better. |

Well i guess what i heard that there are as many indian restaurants as italians restaurants in shanghai.
Being a big time fan of indian food,i guess there should be a best indian food catagory or for that matter include best thai too.other catagory can include 'others'
What say ya !! magnolia & bellabella.
Also it would be fun if you both can conclude one list best of "WHAT" and others just copy and fill their choice of best whatever !!! As evertybody keeps adding their best and the list becomes longer and longer and boring |

That's the one. It's been revamped, reinvented and reinstituted.
There's a foreign food section. |

Eager Beaver is on Yueyang Lu, near the T-intersection with Dongping Lu, just around the corner from the Blarney Stone. It's also opposite Freelance, a very good new place in town (even though their food is shite, like most other bars in this city). |
