Post subject: Recommend Travel Agent - going home

My family (4 people + 1 cat) will be flying from Shanghai back to the U.S. at the end of June. My company gives me the option of them purchasing tickets in Business Class or giving me 75% of unrestricted business fair and I make my own arrangements.

Therefore, looking for a good travel agent to check cost. I have not had much luck looking on internet (KLM, NWA, Delta, etc...). They either say you can't get there from here or have to call to get prices.

check www.united.com or www.expedia.com for good deals on american airlines.
for chinese airlines check www.ctrip.com or www.elong.net

PS: why not fly business, which makes travelling a whole lot easier (maybe except for the cat...)

the us carriers are united, american and northwest (i have no idea why they said they don't fly from here... unless things have changed they do have a flight). you can also look at jal and ana. usually purchasing directly from the airline is least expensive but sometimes an agent can find deals. stella song at 6249-2683 may be able to assist with some pricing.

Thanks Magnolia... perhaps I will call the airlines directly.

drumm... we plan to fly business. My company gives rate for non-restrictive tickets. We usually can find much cheaper price if booked in advance and pocket the rest. Oh, and thanks for the ctrip site. I was trying to remember that site yesterday.
